The Schlieffen plan was developed well before the start of the war. It was about France and Russia being allies. This does not mean I don't think the Germans weren't guilty of starting the war - that is everyone was partly responsible. But the Schlieffen plan is NOT proof of aggression and historians who say so are wrong. Anyhow we are way off topic. I think if we wish to continue further we should start a new discussion.
