P.S. Years ago I saw a postcard of the picture of US POWS being lead on the road with the German lancer in front...Inscription in german said these were First Americam POWS
In Yankee Magazine Former POW Enoch Doble wrote of his experiences in WW I (He was in above picture)
It was later reprinted in "THE World Wars Remembered" 1979 {Yankee Mag arfticles}
