A high level overview by Scott Stephenson for those unfamiliar with one of the most successful offensives conducted during the war by the Central Powers. The Great Retreat isn't covered in any detail notwithstanding the title. Also, the focus is very much on the Germans, although the Austro-Hungarians' situation is addressed a bit. Very little coverage of the Russian side.

Those issues notwithstanding, this is worth watching for those unfamiliar with the topic, and the presenter gives some further reading towards the end of the talk (before the Q&A)
