Serbian M1847 Pickelhaube helmet

Post by Srbac » 13 Feb 2023 05:11

So, here's the picture of it.. and i'm now wondering what unit/military formation used this helmet? And were they somehow connected or conscripted serbian volunteers in prussian/german army? Thank you.Image Image

And, I'm also thinking the images of these 2 hats are different from each other, 2nd pic has Russian spike while other one Prussian, so I guess they were used by different militias.. please help me find the unit that used these 2. Thank you!

Hello,

For my part, I do not know the name of the units that used it, but indeed, the helmets are all different.

First one is Russian styled, and other one is Prussian I believe, they might have been made for Serbs who formed their own unit in Russian or Prussian army
