Canadian involvement in WWI...

#1

Post by Shc » 01 Feb 2005, 23:30

Hi!

I was just wondering how much the Canadians participated in WWI?
Sadly, I barely know anything about our country's involvement in WWI and I'm quite curious.

Thanks,
Jose :D

JoseFrancis,

This is really a fascinating period and Canada did contribute a lot in World War I, the Battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917 when the Canadians finally beat the Germans is something to be really proud of. To had to the excellent site posted by Allen here is another one to learn more about that period:

Enjoy!
