No, M41/44 was manufactured under license in Spain by Arsenal de La Coruña, after the SCW.

MP 28/II Naranjero was manufactured in Levante, area famous for its oranges ( Naranjas ). With the need for weapons that
existed on the Republican side, the Mp-28/II began to be manufactured without patents or permission in the factories of the Levant.
The difference with the original German model was minimal, and they only differed in the handle to load the weapon, being in the
republican model cylindrical in shape.

Some authors argue that the possibility that the Tellez M1937 was a South American product cannot be ruled out.

The Tellez M1937 submachine gun is extremely mysterious. only one copy was found in Spain. Those who have analyzed its structure disagree about its origin, as "Tellez" is not in the directory of arms manufacturers in Spain. The submachine gun looks very similar to the German pm ERMA (rather VMP 30), although the barrel has a smaller diameter (certainly a different barrel nut than in the VMP). As Barceló Rubí claims, it cannot be ruled out that the Tellez M1937 was a South American product. The weapon only has the mark next to the permanent sight "Tellez e hijo. Andrew, Yokyakarta produced a line of smgs in the late 40s. This was a weapons factory set up by Indonesian staff of the Bandung Arsenal that had joined the TNI side. The weapons are hybrid developments of the Schmeisser MP 28 (in service with the KNIL troops in the Dutch East Indies), the Sten (brought by British Indian troops after WW2 and used by the Dutch) and the Spanish Star. The Dutch negotiated a huge order for Stars in 1941/42. The Bandung Arsenal must have tested this weapon around 1941 and some pieces must have been delivered before the Japanese arrived. Hence the Spanish influence in an Indonesian smg!
