Say, what do you want to know? there is plenty of info in spanish, I could translate something if you can be more specific about what do you want to know.

For instance, take a look at this site which is in Spanish, it has pages and pages of info. I'll be happy to help you if you ask more specific questions

Thank you for the site Javier. I speak and understand Spanish so there is no need for translation, but thank you anyway.
What I was interested in were international brigades and spanish national republican forces at the defense of Madrid.

best regards,
Sergei

Do you mean where did they fought?

If so, the first battle for the defense of Madrid in which the IB took part was fought in the west of the city, in an area called "Casa de campo" and "Ciudad Universitaria" (where today is the Complutense University of Madrid)

The IB where also in the battles of Jarama and Brunete fought in the Madrid region, not actually in the city.

I send you a photo of a trench and the remains of a bunker in the country side of El Pardo wich is near of the University area, and in the second photo, you can see in the back right Madrid and University area.

In the El Pardo area, IB were there also.
