Well in fact they were "Spanish" :wink: troops and we should use Spanish Ranks...But technically you´re correct

P.S http://www.german-militaria.co.uk/uni24.htm includes a description of a capitán of the legion condor with 3 six-pointed stars... but the spanish word "capitán" (or english "captain") is the same rank of german "hauptmann"?

The city of Santander was freed on 26th agost 1937 by General Dávila. One of your photos shows the italian troops from the Dávila`s armoured units.

The ship is Still there...I know I´ve been at Cabo Mayor many times and never seen nobody trying to recover the guns (Poor Graff Spree)
You know ,there was a story that the letters in the back of the Ship were made of gold and several died trying to recover them...
And also Gernika was occupied by Nationalist troops but I want to believe you were Referring to my Hometown ... :wink:
