The official AHF Spanish Civil War quiz thread
Re: Who is this man?
Prudencio Sayagues, Head of the Servicio de Investigacion Militar?
No, this officer is not Col. Barutell.
More biographical data about Mr. X (if I'm not mistaken):
-Promoted to captain in 1936. Retired.
-Former catholic priest (?), later commie (?)
-Head of the Bureau investigating the loyalty of the professional army officers to the Republic.
-Captured by the Germans in France (1944?).
I hope this info helps you, and sorry my poor English.
