Still, the British Army did not have the same or similiar battle circumstances as the Royal Navy.

Regardless of Churchill's publicly pronounced (or even material we can guess at later) opinions, I do know that London joined Washington, D.C. in placing priority on Rainbow Plan 5 with Plans 2 and 3 in abeyance.
