Good afternoon all,

Above tells of the Indian Army's recovery of a crashed US aircraft of WWII.

I did not see specifics, eg type of aircraft, human remains, but article can be used for further research.

Note the mentioned 2016 recovery of a B-24 "Hot as Hell" bomber.
