Its easy to find out USAAF and USN/USMC air kill claim stat during WW2. With the Japanese numbers this task is much difficult. Any info ?

I suppose topic poster mean stat per year/by front/ by type of shot-down plane. Its interesting to compare with the US air losses.

Ahh. The IJNAF statistical reports were lost during the war, but Japanese losses were recreated via post-war interrogations.

However, they are not to the detail level of the USAAF Statistical Digest or Naval Aviation Combat Statistics.

Don't remember ever coming across kill claims though, except for books on individuals or units.

I would also recommend posting this question in the Japanese section of this forum, as there are several knowledgeable members that post there, but are not seen in this section.
