The attached article discusses the method an US Army airborne aviation engineer unit developed to ship their 2-1/2 ton 6 X 6 trucks by C-47 aircraft to the Pacific islands in the 1943 - 1944 period.

The article was printed in the March 1944 edition of the USA professional military reference magazine ‘Military Review’.
