Hello all,

Can you give me any divisions that were comprised of African American troops that served in the Pacific campaign? If any Buffalo soldier regiments are known I would appreciate you listing them.

Thank you.

William Kramer

P.S. Any group photos out there?

I would also love to know if any commanders were Colonel Herb Wolff.

The "Buffalo Soldiers" is the term usually applied to the prewar African-American 9th and 10th Cavalry and 24th and 25th Infantry. Of these four regiments, the 24th and 25th Infantry went to the Pacific Theatre. The 25th belonged to the 93d Infantry Divsion. The 93d Inf Div was the only African-American division in the Pacific.
