Of the 20 captured during the opening fights on Tulagi and Gavutu-Tanambogo,only 5 were Japanese,15 were Koreans.This 25%/75% ratio on land may have been the norm there.
The biggest navy haul was 115 Japanese sailors picked up after Furutaka sank:
