WW2 Children's Reichpost Card Identification

#1

Post by sqnldr » 02 Jun 2020, 17:28

Hi,

I have come across another interesting item among some feldpost. This WW2 German card which i presume is for children. It has a swastica flag on the front too. Inside states Deutsche Reichpost. But does anyone know what this was for or what this says?

Are these common or uncommon? It is quite large (the pen in the picture for scale)

Another facinating piece of social history most probably. Sorry that it is not quite military related...

It´s "Dick", Greg, there is no doubt as Dick are still located in Taxenbach. The sanatorium Wehrle was then, and still is also nowadays, an exquisite address:

Ps: It´s spelled "Glück".

Ahhh! facinating! So was this essentially a private hospital?

Yes, it was and still is a private hospital. I checked the newspaper archive of the Austrian National Library and they were looking for chiefs, with very detailed and high requirements already back in 1941.
