Request translation of the following proclamation to the people of Reichsgau Niederdonau by Gauleiter Dr. Hugo Jury:

"Meine Volksgenossen und Volksgenossinnen in Niederdonau! Treu seinem Eid, den unser Führer seinem Volk geleistet hat, starb er inmitten seiner Getreuesten den Heldentod. Adolf Hitler ist tot, sein Geist aber lebt in uns weiter. In diesem Geiste werden wir den Kampf fortsetzten, den uns eine Welt von Feinden aufgezwungen hat. Vor allem aber werden wir den Kampf weiterführen gegen die bolschewistische Pest, um das schwerste Schiksal von unseren Frauen und Kindern abzuweden und das Leben des deutschen Volkes zu erhalten. Ich rufe Euch auf, meine Volksgenossen und Volksgenossinnen, in dieser schwersten Schicksalsstunde des deutschen Volkes Disziplin zu bewahren und Eure Pflicht mit der gleichen Treue zu erfüllen wie bisher, denn nur dann wird es möglich sein, die vom Führer angekündigte Wende trotz allem gerbeizuführen. Dem vom Führer bestimmten Nachfolger Grossadmiral Dönitz geloben wir Treue und unbedingten Gehorsam. Der Eid, den wir dem Führer leisteten, ist auf ihn übergegangen. Der Verlust, der uns betroffen hat, ist unermesslich schwer, wir werden ihn aber tragen in der Gewissheit, dass der Heldtentod unseres Führers nicht umsonst gewesen ist. My fellow Germans in Niederdonau! Loyal to his oath which he made to his people, our Führer died a hero's death surrounded by his most faithful comrades. Adolf Hitler is dead, but his spirit lives on in us. We will continue the struggle, which a world of enemies forced upon us, in this spirit. Above all, however, we will continue the struggle against the Bolshevik plague to spare our women and children the bitterest of fates and to uphold the life of the German people. In this most difficult hour of destiny I call on you, my fellow Germans, to maintain your discipline and do your duty with the same loyalty as before, because only then will it be possible to bring about the reversal of fortune which the Führer presaged. We pledge our loyalty and unconditional obedience to the successor nominated by the Führer, Grossadmiral Dönitz. The oath which we took for the Führer has transferred to him. The loss we have suffered is immeasurable but we will bear it safe in the knowledge that the heroic death of our Führer has not been for nothing. Today more than ever our battle cry is Heil Hitler! Volksgenossen is a horrible word to translate - people's comrades is the actual translation. 'Fellow Germans' is about as good an English comparison.
