Request translation of the following article from the Völkischer Beobachter:

[On 8.

With many thanks in advance,
~ Mike Miller

Hello,

Here is my attempt at translation:

"On 8. December 1934, at 1615 hours, on the highway from Weimar to the direction of Jena, to the east of the airport, the Thuringian SA-Gruppenführer Dr. Zunkel fell on the street from a car, following a car accident. The accident was caused by a medium-sized, dark limousine, which at the same time wanted to overtake a sand wagon that was travelling towards Weimar, thus causing the car of SA-Gruppenführer Dr. Zunkel, which was driven by Standartenführer Frenzel, to evade by moving hard to the right. Because of this, the car of Dr. Zunkel reached the slippery grass at the edge [of the road] and went into a skid. The back of the car came in contact with a tree and shortly thereafter crashed against a second tree, which caused Dr. Zunkel to be catapulted out of the car. Dr. Zunkel fell on the street, suffering a severe skull fracture. The injured was immediately brought to the Sophienhaus in Weimar, where he died on 2215 hours. Standartenführer Frenzel and two other passengers were unharmed. According to the present findings, Standartenführer Frenzel is not at fault."

Minor addition:
1. They text says "Straße" and not Autobahn or Autostraße one would translate as "highway". Fazit: "Road" would be more properly.
2. The location of the exact crash is "am Ostende des Flugplatzes " = "at the eastern end of the airport".
Also the German text is missing the word "ist = is" at
