Hi,
I´m looking for the content of the added file. It´s a copy my cousin got from an Ukrainian history professor while searching a grave of a relative of us in the Ukraine and allegedly deals with the fights at Siemikowce (Семи́ківці) in the western Ukaine in WWII. Can anyone verify this?
Thanks for your efforts,
Roman

Abstract from an Ukrainian history book
Re: Abstract from an Ukrainian history book
I don't think so. It is a page from an encyclopedia with articles about Terebovlya district, medieval Terebovlya principality, Ukrainian planer pilot Grigory Tereverko, woodworm, Libra constellation, Czechosloval communist politician Pavlo Terek, and Terek River.
Re: Abstract from an Ukrainian history book
Thanks, Art, that´s what are also my thoughts. As you say the main part is the article about the Terebovlya Rayon and while I understand Russian only when I transcribed it into our alphabet before I wasn´t able to make out the village name in cyrillic letters in the text.
Re: Abstract from an Ukrainian history book
Hi Roman,
Siemikowce (Семи́ківці) are in Terebovlya district and you have them marked in the top left corner of the map.

Hi Greg,
thanks for pointing out the village on the map. But other than that it´s very limited to null information on that page.
Cheers,
Roman
