Dachau wenn ich dein gedenke
zittern meine Kniegelenke.
---
[It was put as a rhyme in German.]
Dachau, wenn I think about you
my knee joints starts shivering.

Thank you! Can you also explain this German poem? Is there a story behind it?

It's not really a poem, just a made-up rhyme saying when he remembers Dachau his knees start trembling .
That's what I think.

The only thing I can think of right now is that he could mean with that "my knee joints starts shivering" is the Dachau concentration camp?
