Hello, I am new to this forum and would appreciate any help on these postal covers and letters that came from an estate sale and I got on auction. Any information would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thank You Mike.

Well, I hope you did not pay extra for those Waffen SS stamps, all fakes in my opinion...

Re: Information on postal cover Max Schneider
Dear Greg Singh, These letters came from an estate sale in a box with hundreds of letters to the soldier Max Schneider and some back to family. Also came with pictures included with the letters. All three together, with the field post dates, tells me they are real. Why would you think they were fake? Having the actual letters with pictures seems to point to that. Estate sale was from a German family.
Re: Information on postal cover Max Schneider
Mike,
Letters were sent from Markneukirchen (in Sachsen) to Luftwaffe unit in Paris (Feldpost number L51528A). Envelopes seemed to belong to Max Schneider. Street name and number were blackened out. Receipient was Obergefreiter Martin Schneider.
We have nice Markneukirchen stamps in the top right corner, town was famous for making musical instruments. One envelope has Luftpost stamp in the top left corner.
Unfortunately those envelopes were damaged by fake SS stamps.
If you're interested in the contents of the letters, you'll have to provide full scans, so someone can read Sütterlin script.
You may want to discuss authenticity of the SS stamps with collectors in the Militaria & Collecting / Axis Documents section of the Forum.
Letters are quite common, you can easily check their average price on eBay.

Re: Information on postal cover Max Schneider
Thank You so much Greg for all your helpful information! I really appreciate your help! I will try and photo the letters and post them. I’m really hoping to get the letters translated so I can understand the contents. I just think with the letters and photo included and time date it would seem strange that all the other postal marks are fake. I am a novice in these matters and really appreciate your help and I hope to continue discussing this with you. Mike
