German manuscript of 1941, please help decipher.

Hello.
Please help, if possible, to decipher the notes below.

These are reports on the course of the hostilities of the group of Major Dr. Josef Eckinger in September 1941 near Leningrad. His battle group entered into battles with a group of naval guns stationed on land. Details of this fight are very few. Translators in Russia do not take up the text, they say they do not understand much of the manuscript.

I would be grateful for any help in deciphering the words in printed German text.
With respect, Nicholai.

Hi Greg,

well noted, my friend! I can only wonder why the writer used a small "h" instead a upper case letter.
However, your suggestion is sure correct.

Regards,
Roman
