This is what I read:

Rommel, Oberleutn.
Dez 1917 (Relimo)
seinem Reg.Kam.
Hptm. Knoch
gewidmet.

Oberleutn. = Oberleutnant
Reg. Kam. = Regiments Kameraden

I think name of that Italian town in Piave river valley is Belluno, spelled as Beluno on postcard.
If we become increasingly humble about how little we know, we may be more eager to search.

Agreed, Greg. The block letter is showing clearly a B. Also the "u" shows the typical "mark" above.
