Translating Luftwaffe death record

#1

Post by wowe_ee » 23 Jun 2020, 20:21

Below is a link to the death record for someone who, I believe, was killed in action while serving in the Luftwaffe:
https://gyazo.com/6f6584587f3f04adbd0757317f6c420e

I've made some progress in transcribing and translating, but much of it has gone completely over my head so I'd appreciate help. :)

Here is what (I think) I have so far - question marks where uncertain/unknown:

Name:
Horst Schulz

DoB and PoB:
24.9.1920; Essen

Formation:
2 Staffel, Kampfgeschwader 100 now I./KG 4

'Ersatz truppenteil' (???)
???

Heading to the right of 'Ersatz truppenteil' - not sure what it says
62719/58 (does anyone know what this number refers to?)

Rank:
???

Day, hour, place and (?) of death(?)
31.10.43, 30km southeast of Beryslav
Killed in action: flak...(?) stomach (wound?)
(can anyone work out what it says immediately below 'Berisslaw'? I think it ends in'flug' but can't work out the first half of the word)

I can't decipher what the very last section says.

Help is much appreciated. :)
