I'm translating the East German Dragunov manual to English.
Shown in the text describing each column, third column from the right is RG (Scheibe Nr. 9). What is the "RG"?
Thanks in advance.

Re: German>English
Perhaps it's Raketengeschütz (rocket gun/launcher) ?
Re: German>English
That came to mind first, but when translating, perhaps and close aren't good enough to satisfy the need to be accurate for the manuals I sell. Your reply is appreciated.
Re: German>English
As it is between MG/sMG and PaK, I assumed it's a weapon (position) as a target.
I had a look at the list of authorized technology and armament of NVA and only RG there was Handgranate (RG in Russian).
Next to sMG on the list were various Panzerbüchse and Reaktive Panzerabwehrgranate (RPG in Russian/English).
That's why I thought rocket-propelled grenade launcher (position) was a good bet!
But as you said, it's far from being 100%...
