I am having trouble deciphering the the "Dienstgrad" and the "...Ort...des Verlustes". For the first I am reading "Hptm" but I have not been able to find any "H" in any of the contemporary scripts that match what is on this card (or any other capital letter, for that matter). As for the place of death, the first letter appears to be the same as the first letter in the rank, but the rest does not come anywhere close to any town in the operating area of 77.ID at that time that I have been able find.
any help is much appreciated, thanks

First characters look like ST. combination.
St. Jacques, perhaps ?

You can get pretty damn far in life by just saying what you're going to do and then doing it.

Hi Sam,
For the rank I read:
Stwtm. (Stabswachtmeister)
Hi Greg, St. Jacques looks good, could be this one:

Best regards
