Decipher German Luftwaffe Letter

Post by JuanPedroLuzardo » 05 Dec 2021 01:31

Hello All,
I have this letter from 1940 and I know it is from the Luftwaffe Regiment. I was wondering if I could have some help translating what it says as I have no clue on what it says. Thanks in advance! (It is a double sided letter with writing and the envelope).

Envelope does not seem to match the letter?
Eg. stamp date on the envelope is 14.March.1940, but date on the letter is 8.October.1940 ?
Also I doubt letter and address on the envelope were written by the same hand.

Envelope is addressed to Miss Babette Höfner in Schwürz, near Bayreuth (Oberfranken).

Hmm, thats interesting. I wonder if the person I bought it from just put a letter in an envelope he already had... Any clue on what the letter itself says? Thanks so much!
