Please can anybody help me with this, I believe he was killed in an enemy air attack.

I read it as:

in Groß-Gerau in seiner Wohnung bei einem feindlichen Fliegerangriff gefallen.

Hi Armin, so he was at his home. His occupation is given as Heizer, he may have been a sailor with the Handelsmarine
