Hello everyone, I'm currently working on a personal project which consists in the translation of Leben mit einem Kriegsverbrecher by Lina Heydrich. This book was never made available in English and there is only the German version printed in 1976, so for research purposes I figure out I would make the translation of the book and then make it available for free so other people can read it too. I do not intend to make any money of it my only goal is to put up a translation out there for research since there ain't none. Everything is working fine, I have tons of free time to waste (see I've had a severe broken ankle operation so I'm just sitting at home ), I've bought a good German-English dictionary and also using google translator it is working pretty good.
But I've come down to a problem, my scanned version of the book got a page in which some words that have been cut out I've only noticed today, and since I don't speak German I think I will have a lot of trouble when I reach that page to figure out what are the words missing and to try to make sense of the full phrases, so I'm reaching out to see if there is anyone out there, a German native, who can help me with the missing words.
page 40 ends with the sentence: "Sie hauen ihn...
and page 42 starts with: "...hatte die Juden nicht als Honoratioren erlebt."
So if some kind soul would help with page 41, I just need it complete with the missing German words, I need someone to put up the whole page in German with the cut out words, I figure that for a German native is easy to make sense of the phrases and fill in the words. I don't need it translated just the full page in German so i can make better sense of it. Or if someone owns the book and can put up a scan of page 41 that would even be more perfect.
Best regards!

Does Lina explain her husband's criminal in any way? Did she know anything about the Holocaust, Wansee, Kitty's brothel lounge? She probably did a good job, after the war she got a pension from her husband
