Can anyone please assist? What would be the most appropriate translation of “Abteilung Dienstbetrieb” used in the context of this naval officer’s posting:

Leiter der Abteilung Dienstbetrieb der Ostseeflottillen.

Thanks for any assistance!

Regards,
Shawn

I´m german, ......but this title sounds a bit strange to me but makes some sense.

"Dienstbetrieb" means perhabs a organisation/administrativ unit. Dienstbetrieb could be translated as "something is in service (and working)"
