SS-Ostubaf. Kurt Eimann
I'm looking for information about operations and activities of Kurt Eimann's SS unit - established without Heinrich Himmler's approval. I would be grateful for all sort of informations, note or pictures.

Here's what I have:
SS-Wachsturmbann Eimann
Reserve SSTK unit formed in Danzig in June (some account say October) 1939 under SS-Sturmbannführer Kurt Eimann. Beginning September 13, 1939, the unit participated in the mass executions of Jews in the former Polish Corridor area (Karthaus - Neustadt).
During Hitler's September 19 visit to Danzig, the unit performed security duties for the Führer at Zoppot, and then guarded Polish civilian internees at Grenzdorf. In October, Eimann's unit executed mentally retarded/ill Reichsdeutsche citizens and Polish political prisioners at Neustadt. The killing continued throughout November, reaching an estimated tally of 3,500. Eimann personally dispatches his victims with the "Genickschuss" (neck shot). The unit disbanded in January 1940 and the troops sent as replacements for the SS-TK-Division.
Sources:
see Masters of Death: The SS Einsatzgruppen and the Invention of the Holocaust pg. 7. After a brief stint as SS-Standortkommandantur Lubin (1941) Eimann went on to have a distinguished career in the Waffen-SS - serving in the Flak-Abt. of Das Reich (1942), commander of the Flak-Abt. of the 9th SS Division (1943) and serving in the II. SS-Panzer-Korps in 1944. (for his military bio - see Die Waffen-SS und Polizei 1939-45 by Kurt Mehner)
The Third Reich: A New History p 582: "...Psychiatric patients in West Prussian and Pomeranian asylums were systematically murdered to create space for new Waffen-SS battalions which moved into the empty asylum..Close-range shooting of asylum patients was carried out by a special SS unit called the "SS-Wach-Sturmbann Eimann".
Syndor's Soldiers of Destruction also has some info on the unit.

Some additions: According to Andrew Mollo, SS-Wachsturmbann Eimann was formed following the closure of Danzig senate as a police reinforcement unit. Its men came mainly from Danzig Lapo (Landespolizei) and Allgemeine-SS which helped in recruiting and setting up the unit. It had 4 companies and a transport section and was mainly used for police tasks behind lines, being involved in various war crimes. It also acted as an additional security unit during the visit of Hitler to Danzig and was later incorporated into the already mobilized Totenkopf units.
In a post-war interrogation Eimann himself could not remember if his men were issued police (Lapo) or Allgemeine-SS M32 uniforms!
Are there any photos at all available of either individuals of this unit or its insignia (Mollo does not provide any details of that)?

Addition: I have only come across a single photo of Eimann where he stands on the background receiving the parade of SS-Heimwehr Danzig together with Gauleiter Forster and SS-Ostubaf. Götze. Eimann was commander of the local Allgemeine-SS Fuß-Standarte 36, which had a major role in early battles around Danzig area, supplying personnel for both Heimwehr Danzig and Wachsturmbann Eimann as well as to various other ad-hoc combat formations.
Even though the Eimann unit was technically part of the SSTV, I doubt that instead of Totenkopf collar tabs, they would have had regular Allgemeine-SS style tabs with their old standarte numerals - in case they really had Allgemeine-SS uniforms in use.

Beaviso:
Could you please post those documents? I really would like to see them since all material regarding this little-known unit is almost nonexistant.

I came across an interesting photograph posted on a Spanish WWII forum. It shows both members of the Wehrmacht and Danzig police presumably reading a map somewhere near Danzig. First man from the right seems to wear the Danzig LAPO insignia in his helmet. His uniform also seems to be of Polizei style since the sleeve insignia which is partially visible is clearly larger than SS sleeve eagle and is most probably the Polizei sleeve emblem.
