His Karteikarte reads : "31.12.44 aus dem Heer entlassen u. tritt zur Waffen-SS über"
But he is already listed on 1.7.44 as SS-Sturmbannführer (promoted to on 21.6.43)
So my questions :
1) why officially as Waffen-SS member from 1.1.45 whilst he was officially listed as SS member already on 1.7.44 ?
2) why was he until 12.44 Oberleutnant (in his Karteikarte) but in the SS-Liste dated 1.7.44 he was promoted already on 21.6.43 to Major (SS-SBF.) ?
3) was such a leap/jump from Oberleutnant (Heer) to Major (SS-SBF.) usual ? Also, why "d. Res."(im Heer) and then "aktiv" (in the Waff.SS) ?

Thanks, but I don' t understand, it looks like he was SS-Führer already in 1942 and even in 1940 (above), but why then he was registered in his Karteikarte as Oblt.d.R.(Heer) until 12.44 ?

it's seems he was active officer in the Waffen-SS and remained reserve officer in the Heer. Strange.

Wasn´t that Kav.Schule before a Kav.Unterführer-Schule ? If so, from when Kav.Schule ? Did Plänk command the Kav.Unterf.Schule (and maybe later the Kav.Schule too) or who ?
