Could someone identify this signature ?
In theory, Erwin Schumacher was in command of SS-Korps-Nachr.Abt.103 in February 1944. Is this his signature in this document ?
Thanks a lot,
Charles

Re: Signature
Hello Charles,
Maybe a track ...
The fact that there is the rank of Major above the signature reminds me of an officer transferred from Heer to Waffen-SS, which is the case of Janssen Friedrich Stubaf Dob : 4.03.1910 but who is known to have been Ia, VI.SS-Frw.Armeekorps. (Nothing else in John Moore Fuhrerliste)
Could he have briefly commanded the Korps.Nach. 103.
Maybe someone has his personalakte.
Regards
Patrick

Re: Signature
Hello Charles and Patrick
If this is the Fritz Janssen listed by John Moore, I think he is not the officer that signed the document posted
Source: "Die Dienstlaufbahnen der Offiziere des Generalstabes des deutschen Heeres" by Christian Zweig.
This Janssen was awarded the Geman Cross in Gold in Art.Rgt. 36 (where he served as Bttr.Chef), so not a communications officer.

Re: Signature
A Major Jaksch (promoted to the rank on 01.August.1943) is listed in the "Dienstalterliste T der Offiziere des Deutschen Heeres" as of 1.May.1944.
His last Friedensdienststelle was Geb.Nachr.Abt. 70, so he should be a communications officer and so, a reasonable option for the signature.

Re: Signature
Hello,
Jaksch is an interesting option, but I can't read that name.
Maybe it’s not Janssen but I didn’t find any trace of Jaksch being transferred to the Waffen-SS
