Re: Registers of Waffen-SS Officers from KTBs
Great! It's a pity that there's no other documents like this for the other 5 grenadier batalions...
I got a question:Oblt Pallas and Ustuf Sentke are not listed, but weren't they in III/26?Pallas is also reported by H. Meyer

Ste - Interesting observation about Pallas and Sentke. Oblt. Georg Göbel is not listed on the officer register either, but on this report from the 9./26 he is listed as MIA on 8.7.1944.

I wonder if there was a policy in the "HJ" division to list only SS officers on these lists. Does anyone know for sure?

I saw that, you're right John. But anyway, but if I remember right in the papers of the Artillery Rgt also Heer officers were listed.
And Sentke was an SS officer,so it's not that the reason.
Thank you Jamie, but I still found strange their absence.

Re: Registers of Waffen-SS Officers from KTBs
I do not think that it was a policy of the HJ-Division.
For example, the KTB 2./SS-SanAbt 12 mentioned all these officers:
Stubaf. Dr. Helmut Vieweg
Stubaf. Dr. Hans Dege
Hstuf. Dr. Oskar Dienstbach
Hstuf. Dr. Walter Oborny
Hstuf. Dr. Gustav Freimuth
Hstuf. D. Otto Köpf
Ostuf. Dr. Siegfried Maresch
Ostuf. Dr. Hubert Wirtz
Ostuf. Karlheinz Roth
Ostuf. Peter Streit
Stabsarzt Dr. Karl Keller
Oberarzt Dr. Werner Marschall
Ostuf. Dr. Robert Lampel
Ustuf. Gerhard Strohwald
Ostuf. Robert Christin
Ostuf. Karl Amend
The Kriegsrangliste of the KTB shows only the "red marked" once. As far as I know, Keller and Marschall were no SS-officers. The "black marked" officers were only mentioned within the text of the KTB, not in the Kriegsrangliste.
Maybe only slackness or lack of time (battle stress)?
Greetings,
andernach
