I am looking for the name / picture of Rattenhuber adjutant ? pre-war , can anyone help ? thanks
You mean Rattenhuber's Adjutant? Would he have had one with only a staff officer rank?

I came back to this topic as I just found a document signed by Guckenberger on-line at the Bundesarchiv. I will post it later.

Going back to the post by coburg22 - did he ever publish a work on the RSD?

Is anyone aware of an RSD detail to protect Mussolini in the last months of the war. Was looking in the "Italy under Fascism" forum here for some info on the Germany-Italy Track & Field Games in August 1940 and started to inquire about police and found this.

Anything to do with the RSD or just BS?

Still going through the Norwegian archive and another one pops up:
Kurt Posner
7 Jan 1908 born Zawatzki, Krs Groß Strelitz/Schl.
(in his 1945 interrogation Posner claimed he was a Sportreferent in Pol.präsidium Berlin from Nov 1933 to Jan 1939 when he was really a middle ranking Gestapa official)
Jan 1939 into RSD Gruppe zbV and assigned to Begleitkommando von Ribbentrop, SS-Hstuf
April 1939 accompanied Frau von Ribbentrop to Italy as bodyguard
Nov 1942, posted to RSD Dienststelle 11, Oslo, Begleitkommando Terboven (to May 1945)
