Looking for any information on these two Officers between 1939 - 1945

Hello researcher,

Sorry, I only have the following about him.

Dr. Günther Stier.
Member SS(nr. 309.783).
SS-Hauptsturmführer.
He was employed within the Staff from the Reichskommissariat der SS.
He was also employed within the Stabshauptamt ‘Der Reichskommissar für die Festigung deutschen Volkstums’ (RKFdV).
On 30-1-1944 he was promoted to SS-Obersturmbannführer.

Hello Thomas,

I honestly don't know what it means, it's probably a mistake I made when I wrote down the info about him. Normally all things I write down are found on the internet, in books or on this forum but how hard I searched, I didn't find where I did see this.
So unless somebody solves this you better consider this as a typung-error from my side, because I also have no better explanation for it.


And of course the info Phil has given us here is gratefully appreciated, as always.

This Kurt Fisher, is he the same as the SS-Stubaf Kurt Fisher who became an employee within the Bundesamtes für Verfassungsschutz(BfV)after WW2???

Gunther Stier was leader of the Allocations section in Stabshauptamt RKF

They were both extradited by the US authorities to Poland on 16.01.1948.

Kurt Alfred Fischer was sentenced in Warszawa on 22.12.1953 to 6,5 years and released on 30.06.1954.

Günther Stier was sentenced in Lublin on 09.05.1952 to 10 years, date of release is unknown to me.

SS-Stubaf. Kurt Alfred Fischer might have been the last commander of Schutzpolizei in Warschau. As far i know he also had the rank of Oberstleutnant der Polizei (or Schutzpolizei).

He was involved in suppressing the Warsaw Uprising in 1944.
