definately not Groß-Rosen , look wich uniform RFSS wears. After 1938 the uniform became "mousegray" Groß-Rosen was established after 38, and the first Kdt. was Rödl. Before Rödl was Anton Thumann Schutzhaftlagerführer for the Außenlager Groß-Rosen who was part of KL Sachsenhausen.
Flossenbürg was opened in 1937 and i must agree that it looks like Künstler, but Im not sure he was SS-Ostubaf. this Early. The camps established before 1938 was not many. My guess goes more to Dachau

the book which photo is coming from says it is Rödl. But it might be wrong. In my opinion it is Rödl.

Yes, executed after the war in Czechoslowakia for his involvement in KL. He only appeared in CZ during his effort to escape from Breslau.
