This Staf took over the new post of Oberabschnittreiterführer des SS Oa Nordwest 1.4.36 to 13.5.36. Who succeeded him or was he the last holder of the post. Also was he at the same time Reiterführer der Reiterabschnitt I until this post was abolished 30th November 1936.

He was sole commander of Reiterabschnitt I, acting as its head until becoming Inspector of the Equestrian SS on May 13, 1936 (later succeeded by Fr Wilhelm Krüger). He was also Reiterinspekteur for "Nordost" on its staff after the position of Reiterführer was eliminated and only became a Standartenführer on July 24, 1937. He returned to the same Oberabschnitt in early November 1943 as Reiterinspekteur, which had been renamed "Nordsee" in 1940, and served there to the end of the war.
