Marcus..... what do your lists of "guards" refer to? Are they guards at a particular point in time? Are they an exhaustive list of guards? For example Dachau. It was my belief that some SS soldiers when long term recuperating from injuries, may be stationed at Dachau for garrison duties. Would Garrison duties constitute being an active "guard" at Dachau or could garrison duties be something completely different. My apologies if my questions look naive. My questions do pertain to Dachau as opposed to any other camp.

Horst Schumann (* 1. Mai 1906 in Halle an der Saale; † 5. Mai 1983 in Frankfurt am Main)

The trial began on 23 Schumann September 1970 before the Regional Court of Frankfurt am Main and fell because of the numerous and sometimes dubious advice of his unfitness for judicial scandal. Finally, the procedure was 14 April 1971 because of unfitness being conditioned by a set of high blood pressure of the accused. 29 July 1972 was his prison. Schumann spent the rest of his life in Frankfurt-Seckbach, where he died 1983 . source: wiki
