Oberst der Schutzpolizei Willy Bethke

Hi,

I search add infos about Willy Bethke.
01.10.1920 he joined the Schutzpolizei Danzig, last he was Oberst and Kommandeur Schutzpolizei Danzig (until 15.09.1939)
15.09.1939 he left the police.
Later he was Gaustabsjägermeister Wartheland and SA-Standartenführer.

Andreas your post has raised a question. I had Konrad Ritzer as Kdr Schupo Danzig 21.2.39 - 1.10.39. Am I wrong or did Ritzer succeed Bethke on the 21.2.39

Hi Phil,

Ritzer was planed for KdSchP Danzig for 01.03.1939 but he was Kommandeur der Polizei-Offizierschule Berlin-Köpenick until 02.05.1939. On this day he was Chef des Stabes beim Befehlshaber der Ordnungspolizei beim Reichsprotektor von Böhmen und Mähren.
