Could anyone provide me some biographie or details about Ferdinand Fendt.
He was a warcorrespondent in the Das Reich Division. His rank was SS-Unterscharführer.

Greetings,

I only know that he was an ethnic German from "Romania" (Banat or Siebenbürgen?), and was known by the nickname "Ferry." The man appearing with him in the somewhat well known photo, where the two are in snowsuits in front of an SPW, was a Swiss volunteer, and a fellow war correspondant.
