SS-Obersturmbannführer & Commander SS-Panzer-Regiment 3 “Faust” /3.SS-Panzer-Division “Totenkopf”: ? 1944–WIA 05 January 1945 (He was briefly replaced by Boris Kraas).

SS-Obersturmbannführer & Commander SS-Infanterie-Regiment 3: 01 March-May 1945.

This is all I have about this SS-officer. And there's nothing more to find on this forum or on the Internet. So if anybody could help me with some more info about this officer that would be highly appreciated.

Forum member 'georg' is very insistance that Laackmann was awarded the DKiG. He made a very valid argument that even though there is no list of him anywhere, not all records were recovered after the war.
