Rossano,
I' m sure you have scanned these pics out of the books "uniforms, organization and history of the Waffen-SS" by Bender / Taylor ??
Isn' t it so ?? What' s about the copyright ??
In any case you should declare your sources !! See http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 8&t=121833
Otherwise you risk that your posts will be deleted in future

Hello Dieter Z(inke)
Maybe Bender but I do not remember exactly, as I have so many books.
Some years ago I copied a few photos of unknown Army- and SS-generals
from old books that I have and stored them in my computer to possibly ask
about in future. Now time has come, in fact only now I saw the chance thru
Your Forum to ask and possibly know who they are (before I did not know it
and also I had no experience with Forums), and I believe that this is not illegal.
Can You also tell me who is this other SS-general ?
Thanks for Your help Rossano

Hi Rossano!
It's Werner Lorenz.
Hildebrandt is the one with the cap.

Rossano~
You may be confusing this with another thread (perhaps in the ABR Forum? Probably this one: http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... start=1245 )- Rommel appears in none of these photos. The last photo you posted in THIS thread does indeed show Werner Lorenz (during a ca. Summer 1943 visit to 8.SS-Kav.Div. "Florian Geyer" and its CO, Hermann Fegelein; Richard Hildebrandt was also present- the photo you've posted of Hildebrandt is from the same occasion).
Best,
~ Mike

Hi Mike,
Sorry, You are right, I made some confusion with another query about a german Army-general.
Sorry again, and thanks
Rossano
P.S.: Do You know the next one too ?
