Hello Igor,
Thanks for sharing...in higher quality it could be a great shot. I believe it is von Meyszner next to Daluege.

Nice, thanks for posting, Ignacio - Waldemar Geyer is on the other side of Goebbels. Also recognize the fellow with the beard two seats on the other side of Daluege, but can't remember his name.

Hello,

Michal Photo was made on Vienna, March 16th 1938 in ocasion of Swearing-in of the Austrian police on Heldenplatz (Vereidigung der Wiener Polizei).

Another Photo from this ocasion:

Image

ÖNB: Bürckel, Josef; Daluege, Kurt; Heydrich, Reinhard; Himmler, Heinrich; Kaltenbrunner, Ernst

regards
Darko
Does anyone recognize the Police General with the drawn sword at the right side of this image? Wolff is on Himmler's right, but who is the Standartenführer slightly behind and between the other General and Kaltenbrunner?

Yes, the Standartenfuhrer is Fitzhum. He switched from wearing the SS Degen in #169 to the M1936 Dolch in the recent photo. But who is the Police General?

A little-known photo of SS-Gruf. Kurt Daluege.
* An early SS insignia can be seen on the officer in the background, ' Collar patch ( Asclepius symbol ) for all commissioned ranks
below SS-Standartenführer in an SS Medical Company under the command of an SS-Oberabschnitte.

A little confusion on my part in trying multiple quotes, sorry. The photo was in post #148 five years ago by Tigre. It is identified as “ Truppenübungsplatz Döberitz”. Max, were these officers on Daluege’s staff? Why would the commander of the HAOP be present at a presumably joint manouver of Heer and VT troops? What would the cuff titles be?
