Hello,
I think you are right about this both plus Dr.-Ing. Johannes Meyer and Gerhard Winkler too.

It´s not possible to be 1936 photos because Daluege wears newly issued police uniform from 1937 and Himmler has brocaded belt issued in 1938.

Actually, the BA photo captions read 1936/1939.

Best,

James
a number of biography articles in bio books and magazines (including my article in 39/45 MAGAZINE) but the only book (at my knowledge) is :

Die braune Elite II edited by R. Smelser, E Syring, R. Zitelmann including :
Kurt Daluege - Der Prototyp des loyalen Nationalsocialisten by Caron Cadle 1993
based upon his thesis My Honor is Loyalty. The Biographie of SS General Kurt Daluege Princeton University 1979 (unpublished).
In 1993, He wrote about a biographical book in preparation but not yet published :(

Andrey.
The generals are waiting to enter the Kongresshalle prior to the opening ceremony. But is that Winkler on the far right or Generalmajor von Kamptz who was noted as a participant in the RPT in the September 20, 1938 "Die Deutsche Polizei" magazine article about the event.

Would anyone offer and opinion of the type of pin Daluege is wearing below the right breast pocket of his tunic. The time is mid-Summer 1939 during a review of an honor guard. Sorry for the poor quality, as it is from a period magazine. Military and party awards (save for the Blood Order and DK) belong on the left side. Would it be a tinnie of some sort?

Second photo down on page 2. I would question whether this is really Daluege.
