Maybe someone knows what was the position of Dörhage in Stapo Schröttersburg-Zichenau?

There was one more defendant in the same trial: Scha., Hermann (verdict suspended by the Federal Supreme Court; no further trial). Some months later there was a trial in Giessen against Bau., Ernst, also from Sipo Zichenau-Schröttersburg (16.09.1976: 3 years & 3 months).
Any idea concerning the correct surnames?

Hey guys,

About Dörhage. Was he KdS or BdS in Athens??? I've seen almost all topics that are mentioning his name and in some of them he's refered to as the BdS in Greece, before W. Blume. But to be a BdS he had not the correct rank I think so therefor I guess he was only KdS.
But who can give me a correct answer here???

Here's one post that's mentioning him as BdS.

I must ask here what was Dörhage's connection with Stapo "Schröttersburg-Zichenau and when? Furthermore, can anybody enlighten me on the post-war trial in Gießen and it's outcome? Thank you.

Hans Dörhage - head of Abt.II (Innenpolitische Angelegenheiten) with Stapo Zichenau between April 1940 - December 1940 (as KK and from October 1940 Kriminalrat). In December 1940 he returned to Stapo Bielefeld.

About the trials (there were two trials)

http://www1.jur.uva.nl/junsv/brd/Tatortengfr.htm (case 834 against former Kriminalkommissar Ernst Baumann)
http://www1.jur.uva.nl/junsv/brd/Tatortengfr.htm (case 836 against Dr. Erich Bartels, Hans Dörhage and 5 others)

Two main suspects, Stapoleiters Schröttersburg-Zichenau, Hartmut Pulmer and Friedrich Schulz were withdrawn from the trial due to health condition. There was also investigation against 4 other men from this office (Willy Hinze, Rudolf Renner, Johannes Kunze and Fritz Lange) but was also discontinuated and they were never tried. SS-Stubaf Willy Hinze (Pulmer and Schulz deputy) died in 1975, before the trial opened.

Hello Shane,

according to http://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic. ... 8&t=217616 Dörhage was head of Amt III (SD)/Gestapo Schröttersburg-Zichenau in 1940.

Hello Ludger,

Stapo Schröttersburg-Zichenau Leiter Abt. II
KK/KR Hans Dörhage suceeded by Kriminalrat Wilhelm Apitz

Abt. III
KK Gerth, KK Rudolf Renner, KK Ernst Baumann
source: files from BA Ludwigsburg

Abt. III (Spionageabwehr) at that time (1940) was not SD but part of Gestapo. Dörhage was Stapo officer not SD. SD (Sicherheitsdienst) was separated office not included to Staatspolizei(leit)stelle.

Staatspolizeistelle was divided into three Abteilungen:
Abt. I (personal and administration)
Abt. II (Innenpolitische Angelegenheiten)
Abt. III (Abwehrangelegenheiten)

In late 1942 (as i remember correctly) Abt. II and Abt. III were combined into one Abt. IV and Kriminalrat Apitz became head of this new created Abteilung in Stapo Schröttersburg-Zichenau.

Thanks a lot George, especially for the additional infos.

As far as your explanations concerning Abt. III: I must have been somehow "absent minded". Of course SD has organisational nothing to do within the Gestapo.
