I’m with Ivan on this one (wanting to know who he is) This man looks so familiar to me. I’ve gone through every thread photo on Prinz Eugen to see if he was overlooked and already identified to no avail. I wonder if this man was a transfer from a camp or another division. This photo from the series Ivan posted is the best in my opinion as a portrait view. Who the hell is this man??

It's annoying isn't it ;)

Looking through Kumm's early "Prinz Eugen" staff list, I've noticed that there's no info on IIa, IIb and O3. Does anyone know their names? What is certain is that this guy isn't division's Ia, O1, Ib, O2, Ic, III, IVa, IVb, IVc, V nor VI. (Kumm mentions Ostuf. Schneider and Kirchner as Ic. I don't know what this Schneider looked like so he remains a possibility. I also don't know what Ostuf. Kügler, Kartenstelle, looked like.)

Cheers,
Ivan

Hello, Ian

Why Kötzold? The Stubaf. looks nothing like him.

One more time, the Stubaf. was a division's (and then corps) staff member.

Thank you for the tip... do you know where I might find a photo to compare (a website or link)? All I’m getting is a Johannes Hermann Mueller who I think is an entirely different individual from the one you describe. Thanks again. I’ll try that name here too (AHF) forgot that option - duh)

I agree with Mannelli. Thank you Dieter... Regarding the Tschimpke, I have no photo of him to compare.
