Hello
It's obviously one of the officers who later became part of the 6. SS-Division "Nord", I send the photo to Charli Peng if he doesnt see this first.
Best regards
Georg

Hello
The photo is most probably when Ostendorf was Kdr. of 17. SS-Div. "GvB", the sorrounding indicates Summer so ist must be just before D-Day wich make this slightly radier.

Best regards
Georg

Is it Otto Heider far left?
If so, who is the other SS officer? Date of photo is 1939, Düsseldorf.

Michal
Hi, Michal!
Yes, you are right.
Best,

Andrey.

P.S. With the second a little later, ok? 8-)

Hi,

Andrey.
Andrey is absolutely correct. This man is often erroneously identified as von Reitzenstein as a result of a mistaken identity by a well known militaria dealer, which was then used by Wikipedia. I researched the photos and discovered the true identity to be Josef Weber, on the staff of SS-Junkerschule Braunschweig.

Eichmann is not in this photo! Far left is Heissmeyer, with Turner's head just visible.
