Michal, somewhere I saw the caption for this photo: RKT Otto Weiss and SS-Staf. Wilhelm Biermann, BUT I`m not sure...

Thank you, Andrey. Has anyone a photo of Wilhelm Biermann to compare?

Hello, Michal and Andrey

He was identified as Biermann here viewtopic.php?t=29879&start=11490#p2022574
by member Harmel viewtopic.php?f=5&t=29879&start=11505#p2022667
and member Sinjoorke viewtopic.php?f=5&t=29879&p=2112133#p2112133

Whether the identification is correct, I don't know.

Cheers,
Ivan

I believe that these LSSAH officers/award ceremony photos have been discussed previously for identities but I cant find them now ? All 3 are from the Kriegsberichter Archive.

The ribbon behind the buttonhole EK2 in the bottom photo is interesting.

FLTR: Otto Dietrich, Hans Baur, Adolf Hitler, two unidentified SS officers, Albert Bormann, another unknown, and Theodor Morell. The picture was taken at Hitler's 50th birthday celebration.

That I don't know, I don't care for reenactment photos. I've found the scan in that link that I posted:

And the SS officer beside Morell, looking away from the camera, looks to be Julius Schaub.

Max , wrong rank for Julius Schaub further he did not wear the "RfSS" cufftitle rather the main bureau silver cufftitle (type Himmler wore)

Jim,
I'd be amazed if you can tell his rank from that angle with only the edge of the collar insignia in view! I took the view that it could be just the tips of oakleaf insignia in view from the side, but of course there is no way of knowing. Schaub was attached to the Staff RFSS from 1 December 1936 which entitled him to wear the RFSS cufftitle of course. I am aware that his preference was for the solid silver bullion cuff band, but that does not mean he NEVER wore the RFSS cufftitle to which he was entitled. My ID is based upon the rear of his head, which certainly resembles that of Schaub, but I concede that there is no way of knowing for certain.
Regards,
Max.
