Don't know who the SS-Staf. (#160) is, but his cuff title reads "Nordwest" (he also wears a Riders Badge).

Does anyone recognise this Stubaf./Ostubaf. in Bordeaux, 1942? (Not sure if that's actually an SS officer though.)

I wrote I wasn't sure whether it's an SS officer since the same rank insignia was shared by several NS organisations, but I suspected he could have been someone in charge of security (that is, a Security Police official) since he was greeting a famous (RAD) composer in those photos (the other pictured men are RAD members). His right collar tab seems to be blank (not positive since the photo is blurry); however, his shoulder boards look more like those of the NSKK (but, again, the images aren't too clear); it seems he wears an eagle on his left sleeve (but is it SS or NSKK?).

Every help is welcome.

I found this photo in old Polish book described as SS-Ostubaf. Johannes Thümmler (it cames undoubtedly from the SSOA or RuSHA file).

Is that really Thümmler or maybe Emanuel Schäfer?
